Washington, D.C. - Log Cabin Republicans (LCR) has recently been made aware of homophobic and racist tweets made by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee's (DCCC) newly appointed Diversity Director, Tayhlor Coleman.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, Ms. Coleman used the phrase "no homo" in a series of tweets as well as relayed that she was "concerned about safety" in relation to Mexicans being nearby.

LCR executive director, Jerri Ann Henry, released the following statement:

"It's shocking to see such blatant homophobia and racism stem from Cheri Bustos and the DCCC, which claims to be in full support of gay and minority communities. It is a shame that Bustos and the DCCC have refused to acknowledge and address this problem. This is just the latest example of contradictory behavior by Democrats who have recently defended antisemitism, a serial rapist, and infanticide. Our communities deserve better."
